Our Five Facets
Throughout its 67 years of service, the Jackson (MS) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated has remained committed to implementing programs that foster cultural awareness, civic engagement, and an appreciation for cultural differences through the arts. The Chapter also works to strengthen intergroup relations, engage women in becoming more socially and civically active in their communities, and serve youth through impactful local and international programming.

The Health and Human Services (HHS) facet promotes Black family wellness by responding to chronic health disparities that impact African American communities.

The National Trends and Services facet addresses the social inequities that persist in Black communities throughout the United States. The Links, Incorporated is committed to raising awareness on economic health, social justice, and other barriers that affect our quality of life. Our goal is to eliminate disparities in these areas through transformative programming.

Services to Youth
For more than 40 years, the Jackson (MS) Chapter has partnered with Isable Elementary School for tutoring and enrichment programs. Our Link to Law Program equips undergraduate students with the tools, guidance, and mentorship needed to successfully prepare for and apply to law school.

The Arts
The Jackson (MS) Chapter maintains a longstanding partnership with the International Ballet Competition’s City Dance program, which introduces Jackson Public Schools students to the arts through dance and cultural experiences. Our Chapter’s support of City Dance reflects our commitment to providing transformational cultural experiences for Jackson community youth.
